It is now 25 editions that we have been presenting you since April 1996 each with equal affection while endeavoring to offer you the best information on our Peruvian Paso Horse and the best of Peru.
Articles from the U.S.A., Argentina and Ecuador lend that touch of universal friendship that characterizes us; our thanks to Raúl Risso Matellini, Carlos Lecuona and Loli Burneo.
Also enhancing this edition is an article on Peruvian designer Claudia Bertolero who spreads across the world of fashion her inspirations in our horse and our culture. Photos of winning horses and champions of the “Los Pumas Cieneguilla” Show add color to our pages along with our always faithful sponsor breeders and companies who, like us, are proud of our noble animal. The finishing touch is provided by Roxanna Salaverry with her very special Peruvian dishes, sharing with us one of her hard-to-get recipes. Another plus, by way of a silver seal, is our new column “Around the World”, in which we present to the world the National Champions of the First Unified Show in the United States thanks to the contributions of Raúl Risso, Harrison Mc Donald and photographer Steven Lasko.
This issue, which we have named “The Silver Edition” for our 25 numbers, is full of satisfaction and gratitude but also with sadness at the loss of not only a great friend but also a brother, an exceptional person and one of the best breeders and aficionados in the Argentine Republic, our dear Rómulo Acosta, to whom this number is dedicated.
